Dr. Raymond Chan from the Neuropsychology and Applied Cognitive Neuroscience (NACN) Laboratory, and the CAS Key Laboratory of Mental Health, Institute of Psychology has recently been appointed to be the editorial board members of "Schizophrenia Bulletin" and "Psychiatry Research".
Since its inception in 1969, the Schizophrenia Bulletin has made its mission to publish top-quality research in the study of schizophrenia. The Journal has evolved into a top tier schizophrenia publication.The Schizophrenia Bulletin maintains a large and distinguished group of clinical and basic investigators who assist the Editorial Office in maintaining the high academic and ethical standards of the Journal and ensuring that the peer review process operates efficiently and fairly. Dr. Raymond Chan’s previous contributions to the Bulletin and his service to the field were recently reviewed by the Schizophrenia Bulletin senior editors who have recommended Dr. Chan for a position on the Editorial Board. He is the first psychologist from mainland China to serve on the editorial board of Schizophrenia Bulletin.
Moreover, Dr. Chan has also recently appointed to serve on the editorial board for another flagship journal "Psychiatry Research" to recognize his contribution and achievements in the field of psychiatry research, and schizophrenia research in particular.
Dr. Chan is a recipient of the hundred-talented programme of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Distinguished Young Investigator Award of the National Natural Science Fund China, and an elected Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science. He has been specializing in early detection and intervention for mental disorders as well as cognitive and emotional function research for schizophrenia spectrum disorders and transdiagnostic groups, using a wide range of neuropsychological and neuroscientific methods. He is now also serving for other editorial boards of internationally peer-reviewed journals including Neuropsychology, Scientific Reports, Clinical Rehabilitation, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Cognitive Neuropsychiatry, and PsyCh Journal.
