CHEN Tianyong received his Ph.D. from Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2005, and was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of CAS in 2006. Then he went to Georgia Tech for postdoctoral research from 2007 to 2009. In earlier years, he focused on the role of executive function in cognitive aging, and the cognitive and neural plasticity of executive functions in old age. In recent years, he has been focusing on the assessment and promotion of psychological well-being (cognitive well-being and emotional well-being) in the elderly, adolescents and other populations, as well as the transformation of scientific achievements.
