The proposed research examines the mechanism of structural and functional abnormalities of MDD brain, objective diagnostic indicators of MDD based on deep-learning and the MDD longitudinal study. The project, with the goal of productively linking experts and researchers worldwide, established the International Big-Data Center for Depression Research (IBCDR) for big data brain imaging studies of depression.
