Postdoctoral JianLi Visiting the Institute of Psychology

On January 13th, 2010, Dr. JianLi from Department of Psychology, New York University visited the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, after the invitation of Professor Jianxin Zhang, the vice-Director of the Institute.Professor Jianxin Zhang chaired the talk session.Scientists and students from the Institute of Psychology including Professor Shu Li etc took park the talk session.

The topic of Dr. JianLi’s talk was "The neurological basis of economy".He described three experiments about Neuroeconomy which he went in himself.He researched decision-making by AI(artificial intelligence )and FMRI(functional MRI ).at the same time ,under the hypothesis of Behavioral Economy about non-rational he described the neural basis of Behavioral Economy by the ways of integrated neurobiology,psychology and behavioral economy.The study of Professor Shu Li' team was related to Dr. Li Jian.An eager discussion was held after the talk.

Dr. JianLi graduated from New York University ,then worked in New York University as a post-doctoral.His primary areas of research are about Neuroeconomy.From this communication, researchers of the Institute of Psychology have a new understanding of Neuroeconomy through the exchange of Dr. JianLi.
