Professor Kelvin Lim from the Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota, visited the Neuropsychology and Applied Cognitive Neuroscience (NACN) Laboratory, Key Laboratory of Mental Health, the Institute of Psychology on June 29th 2011. Professor Lim is the vice chair for research at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota. He is also the honorary professor of the Key Laboratory of Mental Health, Institute of Psychology. Professor Lim’s main research area focuses on schizophrenia using various approaches including neuroimaging. During his short visit, Professor Lim met with Dr. Raymond Chan’s team and colleagues of the Institute of Psychology. He also discussed with Dr. Chan’s team on potential work of schizophrenia research in mainland China, particularly on endophenotypes for this clinical group and other related disorders using neuropsychological and imaging techniques. Professor Lim also delivered a talk on the “Functional and Anatomical Connectivity Abnormalities in Schizophrenia”.
