Dr. Raymond Chan and his teammates of the NACN Lab, Drs. Wang Ya, Li Xuebing, and Huang Jia attended the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Symposium organized by the Griffith Health Institute, Australia. During the symposium, Dr. Chan’s team made presentations on their ongoing projects on prospective memory, emotional information processing, facial perception and social interaction in schizophrenia patients and mentally at-risk groups. Prof. David Shum, Drs. Tim Cutmore and Mr. Ross Cousens from Griffith side also presented their ERP and virtual reality findings on prospective memory and Fourier analysis of motor coordination data. It was the third symposium of the type since 2009. The pervious two symposia were held at the NACN Lab in Beijing. During this trip, Dr. Raymond Chan and his team members also further explored future potential collaboration with Prof. Shum and his colleagues including Prof. John O’Gorman and Dr. David Neumann. They all agreed the discussion further strengthens the existing collaboration between the NACN Lab and their Australian collaborators at Griffith University.
