Dr. Raymond Chan Has Recently Been Invited to Join the Inaugural Editorial Board of a New Journal, Biological Psychiatry: Global Open Science

Dr. Raymond Chan from the Neuropsychology and Applied Cognitive Neuroscience (NACN) Laboratory, and the CAS Key Laboratory of Mental Health, Institute of Psychology has recently been invited to join the inaugural editorial board of a new journal, Biological Psychiatry: Global Open Science (BP:GOS).

 The BP: GOS is a sister journal of the Biological Psychiatry and the Biological Psychiatry: Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging. Professor Deanna Barch will serve as the founding editor. The BP: GOS will continue the commitment of its two sister journals to publish high quality research papers on neurobiological bases of psychiatric disorders. Its explicit goal is to be fully open access and atop-notch venue for scientists across the world to publish outstanding work. It will accept submissions later this fall and will publish the first issue in 2021.

 Dr. Chan is a recipient of the Distinguished Young Investigator Award of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Beijing Leading Talents in Science and Technology. He has been actively conducting research in identifying biomarkers for mental and brain disorders, especially in schizophrenia spectrum disorders and mood disorders. His recent work has extended to a wider spectrum of mental disorders including autistic spectrum disorders.
