Dr. Raymond Chan from the Neuropsychology and Applied Cognitive Neuroscience (NACN) Laboratory, and the CAS Key Laboratory of Mental Health, Institute of Psychology was invited to give a keynote speech at the 2024 Schizophrenia Forum in Qingdao, June 15-16th. The title of Dr. Chan’s presentation is “Negative Symptoms Assessment for Schizophrenia: Theoretical Models and Clinical Implications”. There were 4 invited keynote speakers including Prof. Oliver Howes from Institute of Psychiatry Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London (online presentation), Prof. Yuxin from the 6th Affiliated Hospital and Institute of Mental Health, Peking University, Prof. Litao from the Hangzhou 7th Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University, and Dr. Raymond Chan from Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Moreover, Dr. HUANG Jia from the Institute of Psychology was also invited to give an update review of “Neurological Soft Signs in Schizophrenia Research”. Both Drs. Raymond Chan and WANG Yi were invited to be the discussants on the Negative Symptoms in Schizophrenia Symposium.
The Schizophrenia Forum was launched in 2013 and it is the 12th conference this year. This forum aims to bring together clinicians and scholars in the field of schizophrenia research across the country to exchange the latest advances in schizophrenia research.
