Abstract:

Writing manuscripts in English is one greatest difficulty in many Chinese scholars. In this presentation, I will primarily talk about steps in manuscript preparation based on my personal experience. The goal is to provide a framework within which one can effectively and clearly prepare a manuscript in psychology. I will start by briefly mentioning the challenges facing Chinese scholars, and typical manuscript types and structures. I will then provide a detailed guideline on how to write up a manuscript and the strategies that one can adapt.
