Katja Umla-Runge (Germany)

Katja Umla-Runge is a PhD student from Saarland University in Germany and have been working in Professor Fu’s group since April 2009.
She holds a scholarship of the German Research Foundation within the International Research Training Group „Adaptive Minds“ (IRTG 1457). Her main research interest is the representation of actions in memory and its respective neural correlates.
During her stay in China, she is doing research on this topic from a cross-cultural perspective. She studied psychology at Saarland University in Germany and Macquarie University in Australia and received her diploma in 2005. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences.
